Just set up multiple tasks just as you described, then save it as a Configuration. Therefore, I would really appreciate it if you can clarify if freeFileSync can work unattended by me? Thank you for your time. If verifying each copy process requires I wake up from my sleep so I click on a "Continue To Next Copy Task" button then that is not going to work for me. Third Copy Task: Disk-1 FolderC > copies to > Disk-4 FolderFĪs my example shows I would like to be able to schedule three copy tasks in freeFileSync and leave it unattended while I go to sleep at night. Second Copy Task: Disk-1 FolderB > copies to > Disk-3 FolderE Can you please let me know if FreeFileSync allows one to queue up several unattended copy operations involving copying data to a variety of target folders located on different disks? Below is a basic example:įirst Copy Task: Disk-1 FolderA > copies to > Disk-2 FolderD If interested, post back here and I can look it up tonight. I would have to look it up but I have to leave right now. There is an unofficial way to set freeFileSync to verify each copy. A bad file or file transfer will not interrupt the process (or stop it until you tell it to continue), then, after finishing, it will give a report of any problems encountered. I use FreeFileSync when making massive copy operations (either a really large file or a large number of files).
